Clinical Trials Help Find Better Radiology Services for Patients
Radiologists at Fox Chase Cancer Center stay at the forefront of new techniques and the latest technologies by doing research. They work collaboratively with oncologists (cancer doctors) at Fox Chase on clinical trials focused on imaging and treatment planning.
Clinical trial volunteers freely participate in these studies. The goal is to answer specific scientific questions about the value of imaging procedures for detecting cancer, diagnosing it correctly, guiding cancer treatment and seeing how the cancer responds to treatment.
