Palliative Care Services is an important component in providing total care for cancer patients. It is here that the needs and goals of the terminally ill patients and their families are met by providing in-home services to adult cancer patients through a team of health care professionals.

Palliative Care provides an interdisciplinary team approach to caring for patients and families when dealing with a limited prognosis and end of life issues. The focus of care is symptom management and comfort in the final stages of life.

All patients have 24 hour availability to the services and all families are offered bereavement services for at least a year to assist in adjusting to the loss of their loved one. Palliative Care Services is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, Medicare-certified, and JCAHO accredited.
