A Volunteer Group

Supporting patient care at Fox Chase Cancer Center. This is the mission of the Friends of the Hospital of Fox Chase Cancer Center. A member organization of Fox Chase's Board of Associates, the Friends include mainly employees and Fox Chase volunteers. In their efforts, they also support the mission of the Center—to reduce the burden of human cancer.

Fundraising Efforts

Through fundraising, the Friends present annual donations to Fox Chase. They designate these funds for items and services that directly benefit patients at the Center. Fundraising activities and events include the annual Tree of Life ceremony, Karen's Korner gift shop, Potpourri Auction, Bucks County Coffee Co. cart, Spring and holiday craft shows, countless sales throughout the year and more—all benefiting patient care.

In addition, a scholarship fund supported by the Friends provides annual scholarships to Fox Chase Cancer Center employees who are advancing their education in fields that benefit patient care.

Membership
