Fox Chase Cancer Center Endowed Chairs

Richard Greenberg enters the operating room with a grand "hello," thanks the nurse every time an instrument is passed to him, and proactively looks for ways he can support the development of the members of his division. He is exceptionally generous of his time, talents, and resources, always looking to buy lunch, dinner, a textbook, or even a drink for a taxed house officer or just poke into a very long case with an extra pair of hands for a weary surgeon.

In addition to the expertise he has brought countless patients, Richard is a proud "father" to his residents, fellows, and colleagues.

If a surgeon's greatest assets are his nimble hands and soft heart, Richard had been endowed with both. "
