In the last two years, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Genuardi's, a division of Safeway, Inc., hosted in-store campaigns to help raise funds for research at Fox Chase.

Throughout these October campaigns, customers had the opportunity to donate money at the register and participate in employee-sponsored activities.   To date, Genuardi's employees and customers have raised over $250,000 for breast cancer research at Fox Chase.

As Fox Chase has been a leader in researching, treating and preventing women’s cancers, the Breast Cancer Research Program will soon be moved to its new home in the Women’s Cancer Center.  This state of the art facility will give our patients access to the most advanced research, treatment, and clinical trials.
