The Dragon Boat Festival is a popular event every October

The Dragon Boat Festival happens along the Schuylkill River every October. Since the first event in 2002, festival participants and supporters have raised more than $1 million for Fox Chase. Thank you to the teams and all who support Fox Chase Cancer Center through this event.

Patient interest, willingness to pay out of pocket costs for tumor genetic profiling assessed by Fox Chase researchers

Although recent survey participants expressed an interest in comprehensive tumor genetic profiling, participants with lower income, less education, and non-private insurance were less likely to pursue it if out-of-pocket costs were involved, according to recent study findings.

Immersion Science Health Careers Symposium 2015

Immersion Science Health Careers Symposium

7 am to 4:30 pm

This one-day, hands-on event gives high school students the opportunity to perform the duties of real health professionals and learn from the scientists, clinicians, and administrators about their career trajectories and the jobs they love.  

This event is FREE on a first-come, first-served basis for high school students in grades 9-12.  Register online before all the spots are filled!

Run, Walk, and Play for Fox Chase

Athletic fundraising eventsEvery spring, various cancer advocacy organizations host walks, runs, and special events throughout the Philadelphia region to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. 

Many employees from Fox Chase as well as other entities within TUHS help to lead and take part in these community events.

Enjoy an afternoon of golf with the Munizza family as they proudly host the 23rd Annual Joseph L. Munizza, Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament. This spectacular event takes place on Saturday, May 30 at the Avalon Golf Club in Cape May, NJ. Registration is $115 per golfer and includes an afternoon of golf on a fantastic course, dinner, prizes and more. Dinner only tickets are also available for $25 per adult, $12.50 per child. Rotary Club of Shady Brook 9th Annual Golf Outing

Join members of the Shady Brook Rotary for an afternoon of golf for a great cause!  This year, the club’s 9th Annual Golf Outing, being held on June 29 at Philmont Country Club, will benefit prostate and ovarian cancer research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.  Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:00 noon in a scramble format.
