The Dragon Boat Festival is a popular event every October

The Dragon Boat Festival happens along the Schuylkill River every October. Since the first event in 2002, festival participants and supporters have raised more than $1 million for Fox Chase. Thank you to the teams and all who support Fox Chase Cancer Center through this event.

Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia holds special events all year to provide cancer education and to benefit the Center. Funds raised go to cancer research, prevention and treatment at Fox Chase. We also partner with community groups to help raise cancer awareness and support. Please join us by taking part in the great events coming up. “B” sure not to miss Amy’s Fund exciting Bangles and Bags Bingo fundraiser on Friday, January 16!  Test your luck at the chance to win an authentic Pandora® bracelet or COACH®  handbag and have fun all while helping raise money for women’s cancer research at Fox Chase.  One bracelet or handbag awarded per round.  Admission is $35 per person and includes beer, wine and soda.  You must be 21 years old to participate.  Tickets must be purchased in advance by January 9 – no tickets will be sold at the door so reserve your place today by downloading the registration form or contact Denise Kligge at for more information.

Looking for something fun to do this holiday season?  Stop by the Holiday Train Show hosted by Brian Adams every Saturday throughout January 31, 2015 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Enjoy and operate a variety of displays, including original Lionel trains.  Adult admission is $5, $2 for children ages 6-10 and children under 5 are free.  All proceeds support cancer research here at Fox Chase Cancer Center.  For more information or to make a reservation, contact Brian Adams at 215-788-2014 or  

Cooperstown- Hyde Park Tour
April 24-25, 2015
Cooperstown and Hyde Park, NY

Join the Marlyn Fein Chapter of the Board of Associates on an overnight trip to Cooperstown, New York. The first day will feature the Cooperstown-Baseball Hall of Fame Museum and dinner ending with a night at Best Western and breakfast in the morning. Day two will include a trip to Hyde Park, the FDR Presidential Library and Museum and Vanderbilt Mansion. $288 per person for both days and $50 by March 7, 2015 will reserve your spot.
