Nurses and Surgical Technicians Welcome at Fox Chase Cancer Center's Open House
PHILADELPHIA (Jan. 8, 2007) -- Fox Chase Cancer Center invites experienced registered nurses and experienced surgical technologists to an open house for perioperative services on Sunday, Jan. 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
"Find out why employees choose Fox Chase Cancer Center," urged Fox Chase nursing career specialist Maureen "Mickey" Mullin, BSN, RN, OCN. Part of the attraction, she added, is that the Fox Chase nursing department was the first in Pennsylvania to receive the Magnet Nursing Service Recognition Award for outstanding nursing care from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of the Fox Chase staff, take a tour of the perioperative-services areas and watch a video showcasing Fox Chases program. On-site interviews will be available during the open house. Refreshments will be served.
