Bucks County Chapter Presents Annual Contribution to Fox Chase Cancer Center
PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 29, 2007) — Rhea Brown of New Hope, Pa., president of the Bucks County Chapter of Fox Chase Cancer Center's volunteer Board of Associates, presented a check for $125,000 to Board president Barbara B. Johnson on Monday, October 22. The donation represents the chapter's fundraising efforts over the past year and contributes to the $761,100 raised this year by the entire Board of Associates. All funds raised benefit cancer research and patient care at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Fox Chase Cancer Center's Board of Associates is a volunteer group with seven member organizations, representing more than 800 volunteers in the five-county Delaware Valley area and South Jersey who conduct fundraising and educational activities in support of the Center.
