Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loans – the way to go!

 Have you ever

• worked in a lab and at a critical phase discovered you needed more data to complete the experiment?

• thought about treating a patient with a new procedure and discovered more information is needed? 

• worked on an article that requires further confirmation of facts or references with an immediate deadline?

Your time is extremely valuable.  Let the library obtain the necessary information.  It’s easy.  Just follow these steps:

1. Either type in the URL:  http://internal.fccc.edu/library/talbot/request3.html? OR

2. Go to the library’s home page: http://www.fccc.edu/library/

3. Click on the “Interlibrary Loan” bar and fill in the information.  (The more information you provide, the quicker the article can be obtained.  Incomplete information takes longer to verify which causes a delay.) 

1. See interlibrary loan form for costs – standard requests generally $11.00

Today libraries are using the Ariel system providing quicker and clearer copies of requests.  Don’t delay.  Let the library’s “Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan Service” do the work.  Your valuable time can be used for more important things!
