Information for Visitors and Patients
Food
Meals and snacks available in the Cafeteria (located in the Center Building) open Monday through Friday. The Terrace Cafe (located in the Prevention Pavilion) is open every day. The Coffee Cart, across from the Terrace Cafe, is open Monday-Friday.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., seven days a week, with some exceptions. The number of visitors in your room is limited to two per patient at any time.
Children under age 14 may visit patient rooms under special circumstances. There should be only one child in a room at a time. To spend more time with children, you may use the solarium on your nursing floor.
If someone has a cold, sore throat, infectious disease or fever, they should not visit any patient room as cancer patients may be prone to catching an illness.
Patient and Family Resource Center
The Patient and Family Resource Center offers a range of printed materials about cancer as well as a computerized "cancer help kiosk." Located on the third floor of the Hospital (near the waiting area), the room opens at 8:30 a.m. daily.
Wireless Access
Wireless internet service is available throughout the Fox Chase Cancer Center campus. There is an open connection for patients and other visitors. No registration or password is required.
In your laptop or phone's list of available wireless connections, choose FCCCguest.
