Fox Chase Cancer Center Breast Cancer Specialist To Speak at Discovery International Conference
PHILADELPHIA (October 29, 1999) -- Breast cancer prevention will be the topic of an educational program on November 4 at The Rittenhouse Hotel, Center City Philadelphia.� Mary Daly, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the Margaret Dyson Family Risk Assessment Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia is chairperson of the event, "Breast Cancer Prevention: Incorporating New Data into Clinical Practice".
Dr. Daly will speak about care and treatment options for women at increased risk of developing breast cancer.� She will also lead a panel discussion on clinical practice issues and cases.� The program also includes a physicians workshop, a nursing workshop and presentations by physicians from other NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers.
The program, coordinated through the Fox Chase Cancer Center, is sponsored by the division of Continuing Medical Education of Discovery International, Deerfield, Illinois.� It is designed for physicians, nurses and other health professionals in the following fields: oncology, primary care/family practice, obstetrics/gynecology and surgery.
