Special Halloween Party Benefits Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (October 28, 1999) -- This Halloween, family members and friends of a 31-year-old woman who died of breast cancer will dress up in costume to "Unmask the Cure."� To raise awareness and money to battle this disease, the Jill Marie Tulli Fund for Breast Cancer Research is holding its 1st annual "Unmask the Cure" Masquerade Party on Saturday, October 30 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Finn MacCool's Ale House, 12th & Sansom Streets, Philadelphia.

The Jill Marie Tulli Fund honors the memory of a vibrant, young woman who inspired many during her short life.� Ms. Tulli was a teacher and mentor who used her talents as a certified personal trainer and experience as a champion swimmer to benefit others.� As a director of the Park Plaza Health Club in Philadelphia, she provided nutritional counseling, physical training and water aerobics to her clients.� She was a compassionate, independent and spirited woman who taught people to enjoy each day.� Jill Marie Tulli died of breast cancer in July 1999.

To remember her in a special way, Ms. Tulli's family and friends established the Jill Marie Tulli Fund in support of breast cancer research, treatment and prevention programs at the Fox Chase Cancer Center.� The fund will help Fox Chase expand its work in breast cancer education and technology research, which will assist women in the decision-making process regarding prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

Attendees at the "Unmask the Cure" Masquerade Party will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar.� Prizes will be awarded to those with the best costumes.� Tickets are $50 per person and $75 per couple.� All are welcome.
