2nd Annual "Paws for the Cause" Dog Walk To Benefit Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (August 29, 2000) -- You and your dog can help raise money for cancer prevention programs at Fox Chase Cancer Center's 2nd Annual "Paws for the Cause" dog walk on Sunday, October 22nd (rain or shine). Registration for pets and their owners begins at 8 a.m. at Fox Chase Cancer Center, 7701 Burholme Ave., Northeast Philadelphia.

Special guests include FOX Philadelphia anchor and dog-lover George Mallet. The fun gets underway at 9:00 a.m. with a dog/owner look-alike contest and other games. One, two and three-mile walks get underway at 9:20 a.m.

The registration fee is $10 per person and pledges are encouraged. To register or for information call 215-728-3024.
