Holiday Gift-Wrap Booth Raises Money for Research at Fox Chase Cancer Center
PHILADELPHIA (November 29, 2001) -- Busy shoppers can save time while helping a good cause this holiday season. All it takes is a visit to Fox Chase Cancer Center's gift-wrap booth at the Willow Grove Mall.
The Marlyn R. Fein Chapter of the Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center is sponsoring a gift-wrap booth on the 1st level of the mall, located near Santa's North Pole. Wrapping services are available for a small contribution until Monday, December 24th during mall hours.
Donations vary depending on the size of the gifts. All proceeds raised at the booth will go directly to cancer research and cancer prevention programs at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Anyone with some free time and a giving heart can volunteer. Chapter members will provide "on the job" training. For more information, please call Fox Chase's Board of Associates office at (215) 728-2441.
The Marlyn R. Fein Chapter is one of eight member organizations of Fox Chase Cancer Center's Board of Associates, representing more than 800 volunteers who conduct fundraising and educational activities in support of the Center.
