Lymphedema Support Group Meeting; Free Program Offered at Fox Chase Cancer Center
PHILADELPHIA (May 16, 2001) -- The Lymphedema Support Group is a free program offered by Fox Chase Cancer Center to help people with cancer cope with lymphedema, swelling in the arms or legs which can occur after cancer surgery and the removal of lymph nodes.��� A lymphedema therapist and rehabilitation social worker will be available to provide education and counseling.The Lymphedema Support Group will meet at Fox Chase Cancer Center's satellite office at 432 Rhawn St. in Northeast Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 20th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and every third Wednesday of the month.� Refreshments will be served.
