"Strength for All Seasons" Health Fair To Be Held At Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (May 20, 2003) — Patients and their caregivers are invited to participate in a free event "Strength for All Seasons," to be held in the courtyard at Fox Chase Cancer Center on June 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Strength for All Seasons" is an educational fair for cancer patients and their caregivers who are dealing with diagnosis and treatment. Representatives from Fox Chase Cancer Center as well as outside companies will be available to discuss topics such as nutrition, social work needs, cancer research and cancer prevention.

In addition, representatives from Neutrogena® will provide information on skin care and they will also be available to take special photographs with an Ultraviolet (UV) Light Detection camera, which can show hyperpigmentation due to sun damage.

Additionally, there will be services such as chair massage and reflexology. A free barbecue lunch will be part of the day's events. For additional information, please call 215-728-2580.
