Fox Chase Cancer Center Hosts Fall Nursing Open House

PHILADELPHIA (October 7, 2003) — Looking to join an award-winning team of nurses? You'll find it at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Pennsylvania's first Magnet hospital. Registered nurses, graduate nurses and nursing students are encouraged to come see what all the attraction is about at an Open House on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Fox Chase Nursing department was the first cancer hospital in the nation to receive the prestigious Magnet Nursing Service Recognition Award.

Visitors can complete on-site interviews, visit specialty booths, and view a video showcase of the excellence in nursing at Fox Chase. Staff members will be available to explain the new graduate and nurse extern programs and benefits packages. Free parking is available and refreshments will be provided.
