Fox Chase Cancer Center Offers Free Skin Cancer Screening at Huntington Pike Office

PHILADELPHIA (May 5, 2004) -- As part of the American Academy of Dermatology's Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Fox Chase Cancer Center is offering free skin cancer screening at its medical offices located at 8 Huntingdon Pike on Wednesday, May 19th from 12:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fox Chase's director of dermatology Stuart R. Lessin, M.D. will examine participants on site by appointment only. Skin procedures will not be performed during the screening.

To make an appointment and for more information 215-728-2570. The medical offices at 8 Huntingdon Pike are located on the corner of Fillmore St. and Huntingdon Pike, just four blocks away from the main Fox Chase campus.

This screening is being offered as part of the American Academy of Dermatology National Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
