Fox Chase Cancer Center Hosts Fall Nursing Open House

PHILADELPHIA (September 23, 2004) — The Department of Nursing at Fox Chase Cancer Center, the first Magnet hospital in Pa., will be holding a Fall Open House for registered, graduate, and student nurses on Wednesday, October 20 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Center cafeteria.

Visitors can complete on-site interviews, visit specialty booths, tour the hospital and view a video showcase about nursing at Fox Chase. Staff members will be available to explain the new graduate and nurse extern programs as well as the benefit packages. Free parking is available and refreshments will be provided.

The Fox Chase Nursing department was the first cancer hospital in the nation to receive the prestigious Magnet Nursing Service Recognition Award. At Fox Chase, achievement, professional growth and recognition of each nurse translates into quality patient care.
