Gynecologic Cancer Support Group Debuts At Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (September 1, 2005) -- Fox Chase Cancer Center invites women with gynecologic cancers to a new support group debuting on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in conference room "C" of the Center building.

The support group will provide patients with an opportunity to talk with other women about the physical and emotional side effects of the illness as well as treatment options and coping mechanisms. Participants are encouraged to offer ideas as to how to grow and improve the new support group.

A second support session will be held on Wednesday, September 28. The group will continue to hold support sessions on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
