Linda Sesa, MSN, CRNP, AOCNP, Named Breast Care Coordinator at Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (March 10, 2006)- Fox Chase Cancer Center has named Linda Sesa, MSN, CRNP, AOCNP, breast care coordinator at Fox Chase Cancer Center. As breast care coordinator, Sesa oversees the clinical process of new patients to Fox Chase and manages the care of breast cancer patients after surgery.

Before joining Fox Chase, Sesa was a nurse practitioner in the surgical oncology department and breast cancer survivors' clinic at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ. Sesa was also coordinator of the STAR Trial, a study comparing Tamoxifen and Raloxifene for the prevention of breast cancer in women at risk of developing the disease.

Sesa received her BSN from Villanova University and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania. She participated in the health care of women nurse practitioner program, is OB/GYN certified and received national certification as a women's health nurse practitioner. She is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner. Sesa is also a member of Oncology Nursing Society and the American Society of Breast Disease.
