Sarah Goodyear, M.D., Appointed Hospitalist At Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (July 24, 2006)-Sarah Goodyear, M.D., has joined the department of medical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center as a hospitalist. The Fox Chase hospitalist service enhances the continuum of care by providing an additional level of support for patients who may be dealing with diseases in addition to cancer or suffering from complications of cancer or cancer treatments.

Goodyear received her bachelor of science degree from George Washington University and earned her doctorate in medicine in 2003 at Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital.

Goodyear is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Medical Association. She is also a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society, where she was named 2005 delegate to the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
