Crozer-Chester Medical Center is a 388-bed not-for-profit teaching hospital. Crozer-Chester Medical Center was established in 1963 with the merger of Chester Hospital (c. 1893) and Crozer Hospital (c. 1902), and became one of the founding hospitals of the Crozer-Keystone Health System in 1990. Today, the medical center admits nearly 20,000 patients, treats approximately 50,000 Emergency Department patients, and delivers about 2,000 babies a year.
