Founded in 1960 as Tri-County Hospital and later renamed Metropolitan Hospital, the modern-day Springfield Hospital is a 33-bed not-for-profit community hospital that provides comprehensive acute-care services and wellness care. Each year, Springfield Hospital admits more than 1,900 patients and receives more than 10,000 Emergency Department visits. Springfield Hospital is connected to the pavilions that house Crozer-Keystone's Corporate offices and the Healthplex® Sports Club.
