Highly-Specialized Services
Geisinger Medical Center offers a comprehensive array of highly-specialized services, including cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, transplant surgery, spinal cord injury surgery and high-risk obstetrical care. In addition, specialized services in emergency medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics and sports medicine, radiology, anesthesia, women's health as well as medicine and pediatric subspecialties work to provide coordinated, cost-effective care to patients referred for care. Level 1 Regional Trauma Center
Geisinger's Level 1 regional trauma center provides comprehensive trauma care with special designations for the treatment of pediatric patients. And, Life Flight, the health system's 24-hour helicopter service, provides emergency air transport and is staffed by specially-trained emergency medical teams.

The hospital's state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care units care for more than 1,000 infants annually.
Women's Pavilion
The 62,000-square-foot Women's Pavilion, which offers all obstetric and gynecology services - from routine check-ups to the most sophisticated care available. Our beautiful LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum) suites allow new mothers to stay in the same, comfortably furnished room throughout their stay. We also offer genetics counseling, infertility treatment, high risk pregnancy care, certified breast feeding consultants, and home-health well visits.
