At the age of 41, with no family history, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I soon went through a common experience of having to "break off with" my community hospital after treatment errors to get to Fox Chase.
My skilled treatment and "compassionate care" by the scientific and people experts at Fox Chase enriched my appreciation of life and added a valuable "customer focus"  to my Pharmaceutical consulting and my teaching in the Pharmaceutical Business MBA program at Univ. of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
It also motivated me to become a weekly volunteer and a trainer in the Family Surgical Waiting Area, as a way to give back to Fox Chase and to serve as a "success story" example to FCCC patients and families.
I am happy to further support the impressive, dedicated and caring FCCC team with my input on the Family and Patient Advisory Council.
