Some people tell me that they believe anesthesiology is an area of medicine with minimal patient contact. Nothing could be further from the truth. The process of meeting the patients preoperatively, providing the best of efforts in the operating room and continuing into the postoperative period is the joy of anesthesia for me.

I joined Fox Chase Cancer Center in 1988. Having the ability to offer my patients state-of-the-art anesthetic techniques and superb care of the critically ill in the ICU (intensive-care unit) together have made Fox Chase a great place to work.
