Since joining Fox Chase Cancer Center in 1988, my clinical efforts have focused on the care of women with gynecologic cancer. Clinical research has been a high priority for me as it offers the best way to develop promising new treatments, and I try to share opportunities with our patients to participate in clinical trials. In particular, I have worked closely with the Gynecologic Oncology Group, a clinical research program supported by the National Cancer Institute.
At Fox Chase, I am responsible for the clinical trial management facility and serve as medical director for ambulatory care and clinical information systems. These are challenging roles, but essential to our mission and the care of our patients. I am an advocate for teamwork, to improve the overall experience for our patients, while also guiding the information systems that support our clinical and research programs. The success of our teamwork is evident within our multidisciplinary clinics for patients with gynecologic cancer.
I have also collaborated with the International Gynecologic Cancer Society to develop educational programs for my colleagues around the world. Outside of the office, I enjoy photography, astronomy, dinner with my family and walks around Delaware Bay.
