Holly Dushkin, MD
I chose to become an oncologist both because I am interested in the biology of cancer and because this has afforded me the privilege to establish significant relationships with my patients at a difficult time in their lives.
I completed my fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2007 and I chose to return because I believe in its mission. Fox Chase is a unique environment with a strong commitment to both patient care and research. The close collaboration between medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nurses and social workers fosters the development of comprehensive treatment plans, individualized to patient needs. A range of clinical trials provide access to many treatment options, with a goal of improving future therapies. Just as important, there is a strong focus on supportive care, patient education, and cancer prevention.
I am continually inspired by the strength and courage of my patients and their families, and I consider it an honor to participate in their care and their lives.
