I am a medical oncologist specializing in lung cancer. In 2008, I came to Fox Chase Cancer Center from the University of Arizona and Arizona Cancer Center in Tuscon. I am excited to be on staff at Fox Chase because as a free-standing cancer center, Fox Chase is very patient-oriented. The staff is focused on providing the best care for patients with cancer.

I am committed to providing patients with the most optimal treatments available to treat lung cancer. I believe as doctors we need to be honest and open with our patients regarding the diagnosis and treatment options for lung cancer. This allows patients and their families to be fully engaged and involved in making the best decisions.

My belief is that patients should have access to the latest medicines for lung cancer, as well as access to scientifically sound clinical research studies that test tomorrow's medicines for lung cancer.

I firmly believe that through research, we can cure lung cancer. I encourage my patients to be optimistic, because treatment options are usually available; are better than yesterday; and will be even better in the near future.
