Neeta Somaiah, MD

The set-up at Fox Chase not only allows me to perform meaningful research but also enables me to provide the best possible care to my patients. The top-notch multidisciplinary team, skilled nursing, support services for patients and their families and excellent research/clinical trial options, are all crucial for the most favorable outcome in our patients.
I chose two of the most challenging types of cancer to treat - sarcoma and lung cancer. One is rare, while the other is common, but both cause significant morbidity and mortality. I hope with my energy and dedication, I can make a positive contribution to the care of these patients at Fox Chase.
