Non-oncologists have an increasing role in the delivery of quality care for cancer patients at Fox Chase.

The Department of Medicine, created in 2007, includes doctors with expertise in the fields of Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine and Pulmonology.  These non-oncology physicians deliver quality care for cancer and non-cancer patients, providing medical management of existing diseases, prevention screenings for those patients at high risk, and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and treatments.
