Diagnostic imaging services include mammography, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, MRI, fluoroscopy and CT colonography (“Virtual Colonoscopy”). Image guided biopsies and procedures are performed using ultrasound, CT and MRI. 

Review and consultation services are available at Fox Chase for films submitted by outside physicians. Our MRI facility is capable of performing high-quality clinical studies in all areas as well as research applications. Services also include magnetic resonance angiography and magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Our Interventional radiologists place ports and PICC lines, percutaneous catheters for the kidney and gallbladder, gastrostomy tubes, IVC filters and perform angiography for diagnosis and treatment. 

Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

Fox Chase Cancer Center has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for mammography, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsy, and stereotactic biopsy.
