I joined the hospitalist team at Fox Chase so that I could coordinate the hospital services of our patients. I believe efficiency, pragmatism, and strong communication are the primary values in hospital medicine. Utilizing these values properly allows timely identification and treatment of serious medical illness that have resulted in a hospital stay. I try to center these values on the patient, such that the disease process, the proposed therapy, and overall progress are never arbitrary. When the illness has been stabilized appropriately, I recommend future measures that might prevent a future hospitalization.
