I am a physician who specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I joined the staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2002 as Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I also work at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital.
I evaluate and treat cancer patients and survivors with physical impairments and disabilities such as musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders, fatigue, lymphedema and amputation. I have an interest in head and neck cancer as well as neuromuscular disorders.
Treatment is accomplished through a multidisciplinary approach with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. I am always in close communication with the medical and surgical staffs and the therapy team, as well as my patients and their families. I always provide patients and their family members with information and education they need to help make choices, manage their care, and to return safely and comfortably to their home or community.
My goal is to help improve an individual’s overall function and their quality of life. I find it exciting and challenging to be working in the field of cancer rehabilitation as it continues to grow, and extremely rewarding to be part of the medical staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
