Based on the needs of your community members or company employees, Fox Chase customizes cancer screening and education programs. Our medical and educational experts work with you to communicate user-friendly cancer information. Our on-site screening programs are structured to be time-efficient and convenient. In addition, Fox Chase's promotional services can help you communicate programs and events throughout your community or workplace.

Fox Chase Cancer Center's program provides an annual calendar of events:

On-site Educational Programs and Speakers

Progams can include "lunch and learn" seminars, health-fair participation and a "cancer information station" staffed by registered oncology nurses. Oncology nurses, health educators, social workers and physicians are available to address oncology-related topics.

Risk Assessment

Cancer risk-assessment questionnaires can be distributed to your employees. Fox Chase statisticians tabulate results. Aggregate reports will be available to assist you in developing cancer-awareness programs. Additionally, Fox Chase provides programs for individuals at a higher risk for certain cancers.

Referrals

Treatment referral coordination and specialized case management are available to employees in need of a second opinion or proper referral direction. Case managers who are certified oncology nurses follow employees throughout the continuum of care—diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. Employees are placed in the most appropriate setting with the specialist best suited for their disease site and stage.

Disease Management

An oncology disease management program establishes a comprehensive approach to cancer awareness, prevention and early detection for your employees. This program is available either in a full-service capacity or as a component of the corporate outreach program.

Education Materials

Fox Chase Cancer Center offers a full range of education materials. They are available in quantity for placement in high-traffic areas, such as the cafeteria or employee health center. Printed pieces can also be used as paycheck stuffers. Below is a list of available educational materials.
