Fox Chase Is Top Cancer Center in Delaware Valley

US News and World Report - Best Hospitals

For 13 consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Fox Chase Cancer Center among the leading cancer centers in the nation. On its "America's Best Hospitals" list for 2007, Fox Chase is the top ranked cancer center in all of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey and is ranked 11th in the country.

The rankings appeared in the July 25, 2007, issue of U.S. News & World Report.

"Cancer care is a team effort involving clinicians, researchers, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists and many others," says Michael V. Seiden, MD, PhD, president of Fox Chase Cancer Center. "We're pleased that our excellent cancer care and reputation are reflected in these national rankings. U.S. News & World Report lists the top 50 institutions in the country within different specialties based on an index that indicates the overall quality of patient care. The ranking methodology scrutinizes more than 5,400 hospitals.
