A major focus of the post-genomic era is the characterization of gene function at the molecular, cellular, organ and organism levels.  Biological imaging has become a vital technology in modern cancer research and remains an essential component of all Research Programs at the Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC). The Electron Microscope part of the Imaging Facility provides the researchers with the ultrastructural information down to nanometers, which is complementary to the information obtained by light/fluoresent microscopy.
