Institutional Review Board Training and Education

Fox Chase Policy States: Before conducting human subjects research, all FCCC researchers, and other personnel who participate in the conduct of research with human participants (i.e. are responsible for the study design, data, or specimen collection or who contribute to the scientific development or execution of the study in a substantive, measurable way) must be certified and maintain certification in human subjects protection.

All initial certifications will be granted for a two (2) year period by IRB Administration. Certification may be granted based on a variety of educational opportunities including, but not limited to, seminars or courses offered by Fox Chase or other institutions, web based training courses offered by Fox Chase or other institutions, and courses offered by professional associations. All re-certifications will be granted for a three (3) year period by IRB administration.
