My research efforts in two areas. First, I work closely with the Chief Scientific Officer and the Executive Committee of Research to build stronger collaborative scientific efforts through the strategic investment of Center resources to enhance team based science. In addition, I continue my efforts to explore translational research strategies in the management of women with ovarian cancer. Specifically, I serve as the Principal Investigator for the Fox Chase Cancer
Center/University of Pennsylvania Ovarian SPORE Grant. This grant supports five research projects and numerous smaller pilot studies exploring various options for improving the outcome of women with ovarian cancer or at increased lifetime risk of developing ovarian cancer.
