Postdoc Newsletter
The postdoctoral fellows at Fox Chase have their own newsletter, called "Get In!"; the recent issues of "Get In!" will be available on the web in the near future.
Seminars
Fox Chase has weekly seminars, and the Distinguished Lecture Series runs throughout the year. These talks are supplemented by a range of departmental meetings, journal clubs and smaller meetings of lab groups. An annual Postdoctoral Research Conference is held in the summer, at which postdocs and invited speakers present their work. Several educational seminars are also offered to enhance the postdoctoral experience.
Extramural activities
Postdoctoral fellows are welcome to join in any of a number of not-so-academic activities that also run at Fox Chase throughout the year. These include the annual "Staff Appreciation Dinner", the Fox Chase "Pedal for Prevention" bike ride, and the "Plain and Fancy " food festival. For more information, see the Fox Chase Events Calendar. Many postdoctoral fellows also participate in the informal sporting groups. Basketball, volleyball and karate are the most popular sports at the Center.
