Subsidized Housing
Topics in This Section
The Fox Chase Cancer Center provides subsidized housing to the postdoctoral and graduate student community. This benefit is available for three years beginning with your date of hire. Houses are available to the family unit and one- and two-bedroom apartments are available at Coventry House located near the Center campus. There is more demand than supply, so interested candidates should contact Ms. Joan M. Cantwell at 215-728-2870 or email her at Joan.Cantwell@fccc.edu as soon as a decision is reached to accept a postdoctoral post at Fox Chase. She will add your name to the waiting list and notify you when housing becomes available.
Given the location of the Fox Chase Cancer Center, private housing can also be obtained in almost any setting, ranging from Center City to Olde City, residential neighborhoods on the periphery, to nearby small towns or rural accommodations. Many of these areas are served by public transportation, and the Cancer Center is located only a short walk from the Fox Chase stop of the Septa R8 train line.
