Public Transportation
Center City Philadelphia is connected by stations at Market East (8th and Market), Suburban Station (15th and Market), and 30th Street (30th and Market), from the Ryers station at 749 Cottman Avenue. The Roosevelt Mall, on Cottman Ave., can be reached by bus. If you have a car, the shopping possibilities are almost endless. There are several large malls within driving distance including Willow Grove, Franklin Mills, and King of Prussia (the largest mall on the East Coast).

Food
There are a number of large grocery store chains, as well as smaller convenience stores, located in close proximity to the Center.
Furniture
There are many local furniture stores, plus home accessories and kitchenware stores in the many nearby malls. Also, there are often notices around the Center from staff members who want to sell furniture. This is by far the best way to find affordable furniture. In the summer, also look out for notices about "Yard Sales" in the local newspapers. The Sunday Inquirer newspaper is full of advertisements for shops and sales. This newspaper can be a useful source of information.
Banks
There are several banks located in the vicinity of the Center. Some banks offer free checking to Fox Chase staff members. The American Heritage Federal Credit Union also offers checking accounts to Fox Chase staff members. The Credit Union visits the Center on a monthly basis. Please check the Human Resources bulletin board for location and dates.
For your convenience, an ATM machine is located at the entrance to the hospital located on level 5 of the parking garage. This machine is for withdrawals only; no deposits will be accepted.
Stamps
The nearest post offices to the Center are on Central Ave, Rising Sun Ave and the Roosevelt Mall. Stamps can also be obtained from the reception desk in the Reimann building between 1-2pm.
