Rosaleen B. Parsons, MD, has national recognition in the field of genitourinary radiology and has published manuscripts and authored chapters in the field. She has served on the editorial board for the Journal of Women’s Imaging and is a manuscript reviewer for Radiology, Radiographics, American Journal of Radiology and Acta Radiology. She has served as a Counselor for the American College of Radiology and will be awarded fellowship status in May 2009. Dr. Parsons has been a board examiner for the American College of Radiology since 1997 and is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Uroradiology and the International Society of Oncologic Imaging.
Dr. Parsons is a native Philadelphian and a graduate of the Springside School, where she serves on the National Alumnae Council, La Salle University and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her radiology training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. Prior to coming to Fox Chase Cancer Center she was an associate professor of radiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York, where she was twice named attending of the year.
Dr. Rosaleen Parsons joined the staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 1999 and has overseen the dramatic expansion of the department, which is now a state-of-the-art, fully digital facility with interventional radiology, PET/CT, ultrasound, digital mammography, and computed tomography.
