The newest most advanced fully automated laser scanning confocal system from Leica Inc. with 6 laser lines (405nm, 458nm, 488nm, 514nm, 561nm, 633nm) and equipped with motorized Super Z Galvo stage, 2 HyD GaAsP and 2 regular PMT detectors. It has 4 lenses (10x/0.40NA dry lens, 20x/0.75NA multi-immersion lens, 40x/1.30NA Oil lens, 63x/1.40NA Oil lens) and heating chamber for 30mm dishes. This system allows to image with high resolution large fluorescently labeled samples, to do live cell imaging using low dose radiation and to study protein-protein interaction and protein dynamics using FRET and FRAP.

This system is best suited for high resolution imaging of fixed fluorescent samples.
